Learning from the mega-churches
- From Outreach Magazine: Today, an estimated 1,300 U.S. churches can be classified as “mega” (2,000-plus attendees), yet, this is only .4% of all U.S. Protestant churches. Today’s giant congregations and their leaders are growing and thriving through a variety of ways: new innovation in multi-site; diverse political voices; a greater focus on ethnic diversity; and an increasing presence in their communities.
