Saturday Evening Fodder Around the Blogesphere
Chuck Warnock at his blog, Confessions of a Small Church Pastor, proposes new names for sizes of churces (tidbit: Megachurch is now down to 1,000 members!).
Speaking of megachurches, Michael Spencer writes that the real church of Christ is a church you will never hear of or read a book written by their Pastor: they are trying to hammer a nail, keep a drunk off the street, save some children, hand out some blankets and food. They are trying to do justice and show mercy. While the Social Gospel of the '60s may never be repeated or desired, we owe it to our communities to look beyond our morning and afternoon worship services.
