Passion Week

Join us during this Easter Week as we follow some of the 48 events leading to Christ' final act of obedience on the Cross. We'll cover:

  • Monday: Jesus Triumphant Entry Into Jerusalem
    By ROBERT FIGUEROA
Of the first events recorded during this week, Jesus made an entry into Jerusalem befit of a King. But He didn't come to conquer the Holy City, He came to issue this biggest proclamation ever heard, He was The Messiah!
  • Tuesday: The Challenge of Jesus Authority
By ROBERT FIGUEROA - Passion Week
The Establishment was being challenged and someone needed to answer. The same source of authority that Jesus proclaimed then should be harnessed today by believers around the world. Follow as we examine the challenge to Jesus' authority...
  • Wednesday: Parable of the Talents
By ROBERT FIGUEROA - Passion Week
Sensing the end was near, Jesus shared with the Disciples the parable of the talents. In typical style, the Lord illustrated the good, the bad, and the ugly in the 3 servants in the story. The question for you and I today is, have we uncovered our talents?
  • Thursday: The Parable of the 10 Virgins
By JERRY FIGUEROA - Passion Week
On the Mount of Olives, the Disciples pushed for more details of the coming of the Lord. Perhaps the most serious of the many illustrations the Lord gave, was the parable of the 10 virgins. The warning is for you and I, we need to be ready for the coming day of the Lord!
  • Saturday: Sacrificial Attitudes Behind The Scenes - The Women Worked
By PAULETTE ARTEAGA - Passion Week
As the Lord gave the ultimate sacrifice on the Cross, the woman who had labored till the end, watch in anguish the one who had been so gentle before. The same attitudes that supported the Lord's earthly ministry can be displayed today to impact our communities lives.
  • Monday: The Empty Tomb Visited, The Women Now Go To Share The Good News
By PAULETTE ARTEAGA - Passion Week
Extending our Passion Week series, Sis. Paulette Arteaga shares with us the grief felt by the women who tended to the body of Jesus. Then, after the rock was rolled away and the raised Christ was heralded by the angel, a new responsibility was at hand!
