John 1 (KJV) opens with one of the most powerful truths in all of Scripture:
📖 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
This chapter reveals Jesus Christ as eternal, divine, and the very source of life and light. Through Him, all things were created—and without Him was not anything made that was made.
The light of Christ shines in the darkness, and no darkness can overcome it.
John the Baptist appears as a witness, pointing others to Jesus—the true Light of the world. Though many rejected Him, those who received Him were given the incredible privilege to become the children of God.
🔥 The Word became flesh and dwelt among us—full of grace and truth.
Jesus is also revealed as the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. The chapter ends with the first disciples responding to His call—choosing to follow the Messiah.
