John 17 is one of the most intimate and powerful chapters in the Bible, often called Jesus’ “High Priestly Prayer.” Just before His arrest and crucifixion, Jesus speaks directly to God the Father, praying not only for Himself and His disciples, but also for every future believer—including us today.

Jesus prays for unity among believers, asking that they may be one just as He and the Father are one.
