Mark 13 in the King James Version—often called the Olivet Discourse—is one of the most intense and eye-opening teachings of Jesus Christ. In this chapter of Gospel of Mark, Jesus foretells the destruction of the temple and reveals powerful signs of the end times.

From deception and false messiahs to wars, earthquakes, and persecution, Jesus lays out what believers can expect in the last days. Yet, in the midst of these warnings, He gives hope:

“He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Mark 13:13 KJV)

Jesus also reminds us that no one knows the exact day or hour of His return—only the Father. That’s why His command is clear:
