In Luke 20, Jesus enters the temple and faces one of the most intense confrontations with the religious leaders. They question His authority, hoping to trap Him—but Jesus turns the tables with wisdom that leaves them speechless.

First, He asks them about John the Baptist, exposing their fear of public opinion and their lack of genuine faith.

Then Jesus shares the Parable of the Wicked Tenants, revealing how God's messengers were rejected and how even God's Son would be rejected. Yet despite human rebellion, God's plan cannot be stopped.

The leaders try again to trap Him by asking about paying taxes to Caesar. Jesus responds with one of the most famous teachings in Scripture:

“Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.” — Luke 20:25 (KJV)

Next, the Sadducees challenge Jesus about the resurrection, but He declares that God is not the God of the dead, but of the living, affirming the reality of life after death.

Finally, Jesus warns about religious hypocrisy—leaders who seek honor, status, and public praise while lacking true devotion to God.

🔥 Key lessons from Luke 20:

• Question with sincerity

• Recognize God's ultimate authority

• Don't just appear righteous—live with true integrity

This chapter reminds us that God sees beyond appearances and calls us to authentic faith.
