On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Jesus instructed His disciples to prepare the Passover meal. As evening approached, He sat down with the twelve. During the meal, Jesus revealed that one of them would betray Him, causing great sorrow among the disciples.
Jesus then took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying, "Take, eat; this is my body." He then took a cup, gave thanks, and offered it to them, saying, "Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
This moment established the Lord's Supper, a profound act of remembrance and communion for Christians.
