Greetings, beloved! 🌟
Today, we reflect on the inspiring events of Acts 3, a powerful testimony of faith, healing, and the transformative power of Jesus' name.
Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. A certain man, lame from birth, was carried daily to the gate of the temple called Beautiful to ask for alms. Seeing Peter and John, he asked for alms.
Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, "Look on us." Expecting to receive something, the man gave heed. Then Peter declared, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk."
Peter took him by the right hand, lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. He leaped up, stood, walked, and entered the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God. The people saw him and were filled with wonder and amazement.
Peter explained to the astonished crowd that it was not their own power, but faith in Jesus' name that healed the man, glorifying the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This miracle is a testament to the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ.
